1. It's not a SHAVER. So if you are looking for a close shave, this is a bad choice. I read a few reviews before ordering but it doesn't work as described. The trimming blade has to go reverse on the skin, and you have to give a little bit of pressure to get a decent shave. It was really scary to put more pressure as I was handling it for the first time. 2. The trimmer runs smoothly without the blade, but when I fix the blade on it, it runs like a motor running out of power, so I am unsure whether the trimmer is functioning as described. 3. I spent about 15 minutes running the trimmer back and forth (reverse) to get a clean shave, but it still left a lot of strands on my neck. I was scared to push the trimmer harder on the skin's surface. I then used a razor to clean them up. So, if you are really looking for a trimmer, then go for it, but if you also want a close shave please think before buying. The amount of time to trim is way more than you get a clean shave with a razor. I am going to keep it as a travel buddy, so I can use it when I run out of blades.
